if exchandler is set to false, this option does nothing. Same path restraints as the quick launch buttons. by default this only dumps to UART, setting a file here will cause unhandled exception info to be dumped guide/power opts are processed after this intended for a short video player to allow replacing bootanim if set, this will be run as a title before any other option occurs, does not get circumvented by held buttons or default if set, going to system settings from HUD will run this app, override with Right Bumper this item will be used instead of default if you power on with the button on the front of the console (or the power button on a remote if remotenxe is not set to true) note that the Guide item is ALWAYS overridden by option: remotenxe = true if you start with wired/wireless/IR guide button, this item if existing will be used instead of default at boot time, default can be overridden based on how the console is turned on leave this blank if you want NXE as defaultĭefault = Hdd:\Aurora 0.7b - Release Package\Aurora.xex Default is what loads when you hold no buttons all comments and fields in this file are optional, you can remove anything you don't need if you want to assign an additional one, use the path Sfc:\dash.xex ie: note that Right Bumper is ALWAYS default to return NXE buttons can point to any xex, or any CON with default.xex in it on any of the above devices CD/DVD Dvd:\ (not recommended to use this one) There was one curious-looking message when I got to the plugins part of the Dashlaunch configuration: It says "(cannot unload with dashlaunch unload button!)." What does that mean?Īnyhow, like I said, I can't find any way for Dashlaunch to recognise the file and I am running out of ideas. I also tried to write the path name manually by typing it on a computer and then put it in, but instead of reading the change verbatim, Dashlaunch would point to an "unknown" path (literally).

The only thing that shows is Nova.xex, and yes, the patch is an xex as well. Indeed I did put it inside the plugins directory of Aurora, but the plugin is invisible.
#FREESTYLE DASH 3 COPY DVD INSTALL#
What happened was that it was crashing each time I tell it to download cover art, and this patch supposedly fixes that.īut when I try to install the patch as a plugin in Dashlaunch, Dashlaunch doesn't see the file and thus doesn't add the file either. I am linking to it as per the devs request to not post it anywhere else so I would also appreciate it if it was not posted on /talk either.Īnd yes It sucks that you need an account to even see the thread.Originally, I was planning to install a patch fix for the Aurora Dashboard that will prevent Aurora from crashing once I tell it to download assets from the Internet. The theme will always default to loading whichever one is listed first so I just named my theme to “default.xzp” and removed all others.Īnother thing that I had a hard time finding was that there actually is a FakeAnim type app that works with XDK’s! In fact that’s how I found out about this! There is one problem that I noticed regarding booting into FSD and probably Aurora as well. I will point out that whatever it is you are setting to boot must already be in the HDD or else the SDK CMD will complain about it not existing. Yea thanks to me removing the boot screen the system just stays at a black screen till it fully boots, It does this cause it has to before it can load FSD.
